Ok, first of all thanks to the blog owners for letting me put my 3 cents!
After the HBP, one of the hottest topics in Harry Potter, and the subsequent wait before the next release, is, obviously the death of Albus Dumbledore.
There are 1001 reasons, philosophies, and arguments pertaining to the nature of his death, *ahem*, and some, pertaining to the very fact whether he did "Die" or not.
There are many a reasons associated with that topic.I am going to lend one here as an example:
Extreme stress has been laid down upon the usage of non-verbal spells in this book, and they have been mentioned now and again in the previous one too.
So one speculation is, that while Snape carried out the "Avade Kedavra" spell, he accompanied that with a completely opposite non verbal spell, to counter the effect, and highly limit it[ of avada kedavra].
Also, in a previous book, Harry was told by Bellatrix Lestrange, in the Hall of Prophecies, that the unforgivable curses are not so lightly used.You really have to mean them, you really have to want to hurt the other person, when you use them.
So maybe Snape didn't mean the curse much, and therefore the net resultant curse, kind of stupefied Dumbledore, and also injured him to an extent.

Ya, had read all that on that site long back. While there are some really good points opposing Dumbledore's death, I however feel that Dumbledore is dead. He fell off the damn astronomy tower, and though I know worse things can be treated in the magical world, Dumbledore wasn't given any treatment that we know of. But knowing Jo, I wouldn't be surprised if she would pull this off and prove me wrong, cause I can't imagine how the hell Harry's going to get all the remainig Horcruxes all by himself.
welcome Sumendh to this blog. nice theory and like my frend here rungta, i also have read all those things long back. while in the deepest corner of my heart i wish dumbledore isnt dead. but i know...and feel dat he is. cause u can see the seriousness surrounding everything Jo rites. i mean when she kills someone.....she wants us to be hurt......wants us to feel the emotion like harry does....jus makin dumbledore come back will make a joke out of this emotional thingy. i know i am talkin on an abstract level....but i find lots of abstractness attached to the books as well.

All that are very valid points, and I was of the same opinion previously.
But as Prateek pointed out, I just cannot get hold of the fact, that How will Harry, a not-so-intelligent[compared perhaps to hermione] wizard, be able to find AND destroy the horcruxes, and also fight Voldy himself, when Dumbledore, one of the greatest wizrds ever, took so many years to find these already-discovered horcruxes, and when even HE alone is no real good against him.
But yeah, if these questions didn't arise, I would have myself believed that dumbledore is really dead, and Snape really a death eater.
P.S. Though that site is old, yes, but a new post has been added to it recently[left column middle ["New Article"].
This is a really interesting one, one which theorizes that Dumbledore might have created a Horcrux for himself.
(Yeah, I know, it sounds absurd, but it's an interesting article)
