JKR confirms that which we all dreaded
Not surprisingly, DumbledoreisNotDead.com seems to think not.
Even though Rowling confirmed that Dumbledore is definitely dead, it was such a relief to finally hear something of substance about HP from the lady. At her recent New York public appearance with a couple of other authors, Jo took a lot of questions, gave a few answers, and said that she just changed the title of Book 7 that very morning when she was in the shower. No news on when to expect Book 7. I'm hoping for a mid-2007 release.

even though we all knew dat he was dead.... i guess its nice to hear something about HP as u said. and ya how co-incidental for the seventh book to release on 7th year past the 21st Century. considering dat 7 is a very "powerful magical number"
